Rigging work ropes, undertake rescue and perform a range of rope access tasks.

6 Days training & 1 day independent Assessment

Grade 10, Certified ID (not older than 3 Months), Valid Medical Certificate & First Aid Certificate


Candidates will be included in the Rope Access 2 & 3 Practical Class

Minimum of 5 Candidates & maximum of 8 Candidates

Plan the correct work methods for rope access work sites, select equipment and rig ropes for rope access work.

Unit Standard: 230001   –     NQF Level 4          Credits 6

Supervise rope access teams and perform advanced maneuvers and rescues.

6 Days training & 1 day independent Assessment


Requirement:
Grade 10, Certified ID (not older than 3 Months), Valid Medical Certificate & First Aid Certificate Unit Standard 229996 Certificate & Log Book 1500 hours


Candidates will be included in the Rope Access 2 & 3 Practical Class Minimum of 5 candidates & maximum of 8 candidates

FALL PROTECTION PLAN

Unit Standard: 229994   –     NQF Level 4          Credits 3

Assess a worksite for work at height risks and hazards in order to prepare a fall protection plan with the correct work methods and rescue plan.

2 Days training & 1 day Assessment

Grade 10, Certified ID (not older than 3 Months), Valid Medical Certificate Unit Standard 229998 & 229995 or 22997 & 230001 Certificate
