Explain & perform fall arrest techniques when working at height.
Unit Standard: 229995 – NQF Level 2 Credits 3
Uses & installation of lifeline, perform basic rescue and implement the Fall Protection Plan.

2 Days training & ½ day independent Assessment

Requirement:
Grade 10, Certified ID (not older than 3 Months), Valid Medical Certificate

Minimum of 6 candidates & maximum of 10 candidates

CPD 202000062  Radio Frequency Awareness     –     3 Point Awareness for telecommunication teams of the exposure to radio frequency and radiation on telecommunication sites.

Unit Standard: 229999    –     NQF Level 4          Credits 4Perform a range of advanced fall arrest rescues such as lifelines, rooftops and diagonal tramways.

5 Days training & 1 day independent Assessment

Requirement:
Grade 10, Certified ID (not older than 3 Months), Valid Medical Certificate, Unit Standard 229998 & 230000 Certificate & Log Book 1000 hours

Candidates will be included in the Rope Access 2 & 3 Practical Class

Unit Standard: 229994    –     NQF Level 4          Credits 3Assess a worksite for work at height risks and hazards in order to prepare a fall protection plan with the correct work methods and rescue plan.

2 Days training & 1 day Assessment

Requirement:
Grade 10, Certified ID (not older than 3 Months), Valid Medical Certificate Unit Standard 229998 & 229995 Certificate

Minimum of 3 candidates & maximum of 10 candidates
